Published: 15-Jan-2013
Shadow Mountain Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma has received approval from the City Board of Adjustment for a 37,000-square-foot addition.
With 60 new beds, the new hospital addition will offers more activity, therapy, classroom and dining facilities. A new entrance to the hospital will also be built.
The approval was granted on certain conditions from the residents and the board. It includes construction of an eight-foot fence along the west side of the property and a six-foot fence along the south side of the property by the hospital. The board also mandated that the hospital must agree to a restrictive covenant ensuring that the 600 feet west of the property remains zoned as residential.
Construction on the new addition is expected to begin within two months. The hospital currently has 100 beds.
