The new patient tower as part of expansion project will add more than 155,000 square feet of new construction, 80,000 square feet of renovation to the facility, expansion of women’s and children’s services, a new 30-bed Intensive Care Unit, and new operating rooms and recovery rooms.
The medical centre celebrated the start of expansion work with the 'Signing of the Steel' near the construction site. The new patient tower and renovations will be completed by spring 2013. DPR Construction Company is undertaking the expansion project.
Clear Lake Regional Medical Center is a tertiary regional referral medical center offering inpatient and outpatient medical, surgical and specialty services. The campus includes The Heart & Vascular Hospital, Breast Diagnostic Center, Wound Care Center, a level III Neonatal ICU, the area’s only Pediatric Emergency Department and Pediatric ICU, and a comprehensive range of services.
